Ping Chong & Company was founded in 1975 to
create and tour innovative works of theatre and art that explore the intersection of
race, history, culture and technology in the modern world. The New York based not-for-profit company
has produced over 50 works by Ping Chong and his collaborators, toured widely
in the United States and throughout the world, and received numerous honors and
awards. A resident theatre of La MaMa ETC, which has hosted thirteen premieres
since 1978, Ping Chong & Company has performed at such New York venues as
the Brooklyn Academy ofAfter Sorrow (1997), photo Beatriz Schiller
Music's Next Wave Festival, Central Park Summerstage, Lincoln Center Festival, New Victory Theater, and Asia Society, and internationally at Perth

European Capital of Culture Festival (France), Romaeuropa Festival (Italy),
